Ordination 14. September um 11 Uhr
On September 13 and 14, 2006, the Abraham Geiger College will ordain the first three candidates as rabbis since the “Hochschule für die Wissenschaft des Judentums” in Berlin was forcefully closed in 1942. Graduation and ordination will take place in Dresden, Saxony. Abraham Geiger College is the first liberal rabbinical seminary founded
in Continental Europe since the Shoah. It is a private, non-profit institution,
sponsored from the Central Council of Jews in Germany, the Federal Republic
of Germany and the Leo Baeck Foundation. Abraham Geiger College was founded
in 1999. Its first class matriculated in October, 2001. The College is
