 Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in the U.S.
will be assisting the Abraham Geiger College in building up its library.
Furthermore, an annual guest lectureship was agreed upon: each year a
HUC-JIR faculty member will teach for four weeks at the Abraham Geiger
College.
 Contact to London’s Leo Baeck College was also intensified.
Rabbi Dr. John D. Rayner C.B.E. and Dr. Esther Seidel visited Potsdam
to teach. The Abraham Geiger College also hosted a dinner
reception for the Principal of the Leo Baeck College, Rabbi Prof. Dr.
Jonathan Magonet, on the occasion of his Berlin visit to mark the publication
of his book "The Explorer’s Guide to Judaism” in German.
The book came out in JVB, the Abraham Geiger College’s publishing
arm.
